Family STEAM Exploration Night

Inspiring families through STEAM to question, explore, innovate, and create together.
We are all makers! Join in this fun interactive evening specifically designed for 4th-8th grade students and their families. Explore exciting hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities.
District 95 students accompanied by their parent(s) will travel together through STEAM Exploration Night. Some activities (listed below) have limited capacity and require a reservation. You will have the opportunity to select three of your preferred activities during registration.
Activities needing reservations include:
- Make Music with MaKey MaKey®
- Programming with robotics
- Programming Lego® Mindstorms
- Cardboard Arcade
- Building with Lego® WeDo
- Give Me A Hand: Creating an Accessibility Tool
- Circuitry and littleBits™
- STEAM-Themed Breakout Challenge

Careers in STEAM and Women in STEAM
We are also excited to host two moderated panel discussions highlighting community professionals willing to share their experiences and expertise with students and families.
When you arrive on May 9th you will receive your passport at the door, which contains the details of your reserved activities. In addition to the reserved activities, there will be plenty of other STEAM opportunities for you to freely question, explore, innovate, and create together!
